Long Lasting Fluoropolymer

Teflon Coated Muffin Flights.

Problem: A large commercial bakery was having english muffin flights coated with a silicone glaze for its non-stick properties.  This did not last very long so every few months they needed to disassemble the conveyor for re-coating. This amounted to considerable down time on the production line.

Solution: Continental Coating offered a fluoropolymer coating called Xylan. This coating exhibited equal non-stick capabilities and outstanding wear resistance. This system lasts years instead of months.
